‘Roots Rock Reggae’ is the fourth release from UB40’s collaboration album ‘Bigga Baggariddim’ this track features General Zooz from India’s Reggae Rajahs.
UB40’s Jimmy Brown describes the General Zooz of Reggae Rajahs’ track as an “ear worm” one listen and you’re hooked thanks to Roots Rock Reggae’s simple lyrics and catchy melody. The Rajahs add yet more diversity to UB40’s most eclectic album yet, and is a testament to India’s rapidly growing Reggae scene.
“The Rajahs opened a couple of shows for us when we toured India and they’re massive over there,” says UB40’s Robin Campbell. “They’re three guys, all deejays and each of them with a different style”.
